Sebastian Ingrosso & Dirty South making MIIKE SNOW - "SILVIA" REMIX

Looks like Sebastian and Dirty South are planning on dropping a bomb on us in the New Year. Great way to start the year off. 2010 means NEW MUSIC Rotating at the club. Woohoo.

Happy New Years Everybody. I hope 2010 is better than 2009. It will be. It Has to be. Right???

Leave the world behind - Swedish House Mafia @ Ultra Festival Miami

Check out one of the best festival performances I have ever seen. Last spring at Ultra Music Fest down in Miami. This was one of the best sets I have heard in my life. Dirty South did an amazing job right before the Swedish House Mafia went out and killed it as well. You can see how large the crowd is and that it is actually about 3 in the afternoon. I suggest if you are a house head that you make your journey down to the mecca of festivals this year and head to Miami. Bananas

also, check out the 2:50 mark where axwell hands his gross sweaty headphones to Angello. Nothing wrong with wiping the sweat off.

Official - Mark Knight - North American Tour Diary

Mark Knight and the Toolroom Records are smart. Take a look at his trip from this past fall as he travels through North America stopping all over the place at the best clubs. The video editing is great and a step up from most of the competition out there (aside from SHM). Take a look and listen and see what I am talking about.

Arno Cost & Norman Doray - Apocalypse

Pretty Dope Vid of a live set from the eyes of the DJ. Great song from two years back that I drop in sessions all the time still. The video is great to see from the DJ's perspective. The Energy in the crowd is great and the energy Norman and Arno are giving is even heavier. Gets a little ballsy during his build but brings it back and builds it back up for a dope drop.

What do you like to do when you go out? I would prefer to be at a club like this.

Jump Smokers "Don't Be A Douchebag" OFFICIAL VIDEO

Not a huge fan of the song but love the message the Jump Smokers are pushing in this one, especially since I just watched an episode of "Jersey Shore". It is annoying that House music in the states has this reputation, but that is slowly changing since you can hear more and more House crossing over with songs like "Boom Boom Pow" being mega hits world wide commercially. But back to the point. Don't be a douchebag is something every douchebag in the club should hear. But I bet if you bump this song in the club in guido jersey land the gel jockeys would be fist pumping and screaming the lyrics on the top of their lungs. Being proud of the sunglasses and kissy face pics they live for. Also, Don't be mistaken, the nasty chicks that keep hooking up with these douchebags, get called out too.

Enjoy

steve angello@spazio900

Steve Angello is a beast. I'll say that everyday. The dude has stepped his producing game up to a new level in the past two years. In my eyes he is the driving force behind the Swedish House Mafia now. Not too take away from Sebastian or Axwell because they are rockstars in their own right completely and make incredible music. All I am trying to say is that I feel Steve Angello has a lot more growing to do as an artist and will be around for a long time cranking out influential music. Keep them coming because they are making me step my game up as well.

DJ Earworm - United State of Pop 2009 (Blame It on the Pop) - Mashup of Top 25 Billboard Hits

The New year is upon us. 2009 is going to be in the rear view soon. THANK GOODNESS. 2009 was a crazy crazy year for me. A lot of amazing things took place. New companies were formed. New Sounds were found. and direction was taken. 2010 is going to be even crazier and I can't wait to show you all!! Keep coming back to the Victor Radz Blog in the new year and keep pushing your sound and music forward. Be open minded and always listen to the whole song no matter hard it may get at times. Thank you for all the support and take a look and listen to the top songs and videos from 2009 thanks to DJ Earworm.

Dubfire Plays MFCC in Malta |

Here is a quick vid of Dubfire spinning a show in Malta at the MFCC. From earlier this fall. I love Dubfire and his minimalistic sound. Grindhouse is one of my favorite songs to drive really fast too. Take a look at the crowd and the energy he gets from them and tell me you wouldn't want to be standing up behind the decks at this show. Enjoy

Gramophonedzie - Why Don't You (Original Mix - HQ)

Another song from this summer that I feel should be heard during these cold dark winter times. Classic sampling. A little cluttered at times but pushes its way through and keeps the beat moving and grooving. Blast this one on your speakers or headphones (not laptop speakers) and see what I am talking about. If you are a DJ, I suggest cutting this one up and developing a huge build. Crazy Crazy around the 5 min mark.

This has been out for almost 3 months now and if you haven't already bought it I suggest you do if you want some of the best house before the 2010 comes around. Great Mix great songs great session. Watch the video and you will see more than just the club. You get some insight on Steve Angello's world and some of the projects he has coming up this year. Sounds like he is the busiest man in House now a days, Keep rockin.

The New Age Griswolds

Christmas is two days away and I wanted to bring some christmas cheer to the blog. Check out this guys house and try to imagine how much work that has got to be. It seems to be one of the most anti climatic displays. The best thing is that there are battles on youtube for who has the best lights. So far each year all the houses look the same with a different twist on the music. I am waiting for the year someone actually throws a rave on their front lawn and use the house as the light show, now that would be worth it.

take a look it only comes around once a year

Sharam

Sharam comes through Boston from time to time and has been spinning over at Rumor and Venu over the years. Great interviews that Pacha has been doing for a while now and gives some good insight into the world of DJing. It is great to hear perspectives from the people pushing the music to your ears. Like I have said before, DJing has to be one of the best jobs in the world if you are passionate about the music. One day my cubicle will be the DJ booth. take some time and listen to his answers and check out the scene over at Pacha. Wish i was there now!!!!!

Sander Kleinenberg 'This Is Our Night' (Radio Edit)

Sander Kleinenberg has been bringing the noise for years and never seems to stop bringing great songs. "This is our night" is more than just a dance song. Listen to the message in the words. Think about it a little and see the bigger picture within this music we share and enjoy. its our night, its our time. lets be heard!

30Hz - Daddio (Miles Dyson Remix)

This is a song from last year that I always love to hear. Great Build up in the beginning intro to drop into a ridiculous bassline and groovin vocal line. Then you have the ever classic Miles Dyson Electro chopps. Love them, need them, should be more of them. I know this is wicked heavy house but god damn I love Electro House. Don't Hate on Electro, Groovy House Heads

I Blame Coco ft. Robyn – Caesar

Coco Sumner. Amazing. Coco Sumner is actually Sting's daughter and has been making some pretty incredible Electro music under the name of "I Blame Coco". I am loving the energy in this song and can't get enough of the intro verses before the hook drops in. I Love Music!!! If you are a kid in this country and can't find the right outlet of music for yourself, then you have issues.

I Blame Coco feat. Robyn - Caesar

I BLÅME COCO | MySpace Music Videos

Crazy Animation

This is a dope video and a dope concept. I love the how clean everything is shot in this video. The lighting is great, the angles are great, the music talent eeeeh. Either way this is a cool vid that probably took a long time to create. I don't have all the facts, but I do know this, I want that drum set.

Box Animation from Jordan Clarke on Vimeo.

deadmau5 - Strobe live @ SPACE, Ibiza 09

Here is a cut up video of Deadmau5 dropping Strobe in Ibiza. Very Emotional song. I love seeing artists reach this stage like Deadmau5. He has the masses ears now. So get prepared to hear all types of new music coming out of him. Also Deadmau5 knows what he is doing. Visual audio media with every song you put out. Good work Sir, Good work.

take a look and listen and man I wish I was in that booth in Ibiza.

Eric Prydz @ Queen Club 12/12/09 3/3

Take a look at Eric Pryds in Paris at the Queen Club. Great atmosphere and all around awesome music selection. There are three more parts to this video on youtube. If you don't think DJing house music is a cool career, or producing. then you have to be mental. That DJ Booth is essentially in comparison, your cubicle. think about it

Axwell in studio

A little view of Axwell getting down in the studio. You can tell he is in studio mode. Getting some new music ready for a tour of some sort. I can't wait to sound proof a room in my house one day and declare it MY Official Studio! tired of being a mobile producer.

Enjoy

Midnight Juggernauts - Into the Galaxy (OFFICIAL) Dir. KROZM

This Band was brought to my attention from my music guru friend out in LA, Dave.

Great energy on this song. Just wants me to sit back and pop in the Never Ending Story or the Goonies with these awesome Synth lines and melodies. I dig the video that is embedded on my page, But there is another one floating around that has the best beauty shots of the country and a totally 80's look and feel.

Here is the link to the other video:

MSTRKRFT - Heartbreaker

Song and video have been out for a while now, but I dont think everyone has seen this masterpiece. I am so glad the 80's are back. I cannot wait to hear the next ten years of music before we reach the early 2000's again and we are plagued with horrible fad/ring tone music.

Anyways...

This video is great, awesome story line, great acting, and crazy lighting. I am loving this concept and Hope that more artists are taking this route and putting time, effort and Passion into their work.

Victor Radz - With You (Original Mix)

Made this Song last week and was in a good mood when I was making it. Take a listen and vibe out for a bit. I took a smoother lounge approach to this track. I am getting vocals soon for the next mix. Stay tuned.

Mark Mendes vs U2 - Sofa King 2009 (Mark Mendes Rework)

Dope track. Pretty cool Drop, will definitely get the crowd amped up with the familiar melody in the build. Then throw them for a loop after the drop.

take a listen enjoy

Miles Dyson @ Universo Paralello 09

I have watched this video at least 10 times. I love how no body seems to know whats going on in Miles Build up. You can see it on a couple peoples faces like Wtf is this weirdo doing up there??? Then BOOOOM. crowd is immediately forced into a dance seizure, and I dont blame them. Fn crazy. I salute you Miles Dyson and your In your face Electro.

D O N S vs Jocelyn Brown - Somebody Elses Guy (Laurent Wolf Remix)

Just Listened to this track and was super impressed with the energy. Not a huge fan of the ridiculous wailing of the vocals. but non the less I would rock this track in a session and at the club for sure with that counter drop.

James Talk - Remote (Deadmau5 Remix)

Throw back for deadmau5 standards since he pumps out hits like nothing. Awesome groovin bassline on this track. Great automation work Lovin the vibe.

I suggest you put this one on your beatport list

Justice vs. Simian - We Are Your Friends

Since I am in the beginning stages of this blog I have to post the classics to me. We are Your Friends was a smash hit in the clubs for a year or so back in 2007. This video was made in 2006 and is hilarious. It shows the aftermath of being all partied out and being the first to fall asleep. I hope you all know to never fall asleep with your shoes on, its just a universal rule for any where on this planet. Just don't do it.

Unfortunately I cannot embed the code, so you will have to venture out to another tab and view this classic. Be strong, and come back safely!

Funk Agenda - What The %@$#

Funkagenda in the past year has had some awesome music coming through. This being one of my favorite mixes he has done.

"They know what is what, but they don't know what is what, they just strut"

Laidback Luke Studio

I give Super Super Props Laid Back Luck for not only being a ridiculous dope producer and DJ, but for Producing in FL. I am a Huge FL user and prefer it over anything else that I have used. It is a beast if you know how to grasp the actual power within it.

I don't like how the dude asking questions was like half condescending about the size of the studio.

Other than that Keep them comin Luke!

Swedish House Mafia on A-TrakTV

This video makes you want to drop everything pick up the headphones and start practicing and pumpin out sessions. Check out the ridiculous pad the swedish house mafia had out in Ibiza this summer. out of control. and A-trak, true G of music, I used to watch him in the old vestax world championship tapes. Keep it rockin homey

Arno Cost & Norman Doray

Take an inside look at some of the worlds leading DJ's. Great time to be a DJ in these tough economic times. Have a laugh peep the songs in the background and remember that they get to live that life.......

deadmau5 & billy newton davis "Outta My Life" touch mix

This isn't my favorite Deadmau5 song but it does rock. Great driving bassline with some catchy vocals. This will get the club rolling no matter what time its dropped.

Toecutter - Best Party Ever (Jordan Lightyear & Jimmy 2 Sox Remix)

Toe Cutter...... Thank you. I heard this for the first time a couple weeks ago and have been blasting it in my car non stop. That drop makes you want to start dancing for no reason. You won't even see it coming... Download this one...

80kidz - Miss Mars

I haven't listened to much 80kidz ever. But they now have a strong fan after creating this daft punk like rockfest.

Pictureplane "Trance Doll" music video

Pictureplane is an artist that I have been hearing over the past couple of years. My Musically advanced friend Dave out in LA showed me this gem back in the summer. It is a little off of the House track I normally follow, but has some innovative Ideas and has that great airy synth feel.

Enjoy

Justice - DVNO

Another Classic from Justice. Been out for a long time and this video is graphically awesome. I want some animation like this in one of my songs. Justice are the rock and roll of electronic music. DVNO is a classic. "No need to ask my name to figure out how cool I am"!!!!

VITALIC - Poison Lips

Like I said before, the French are Pushing it!!! Vitalic is dope. Buy his album and take a trip down the electronic train tracks. Love Poison Lips. The vocals counter around the already dark synth melodies which create a dark sexy scene. Can't wait to hear more from Vitalic.

Röyksopp 'Happy Up Here'

It is always a great feeling when you are exposed to new music that you completely enjoy. I posted my feel good song of the summer yesterday and it was brought to my attention that there are plenty more feel good songs out there. Courtesy of the always famous Andy Reid. Röyksopp 'Happy Up Here'. Very cool, very happy, very fun electronic music is here and it isn't going anywhere. If you haven't already heard the crossovers into our american music. Keep your ears up and your minds open. Let the Music Decide

Deadmau5 - I Remember ft. Kaskade (Classic)

Feel good song of the year for me. Deadmau5 nailed it with this song with his soft chords and beautiful vocals from Kaskade. The whole video is a great concept and keeps me motivated to keep finding and pushing my sound.

The rules:
1. Location, location, location.
2. Gain entry by any means necessary.
3. Fear NOTHING
4.Send the word out to those who believe in it.
5. It's not where you from, its' where you're going.
6. Reject the mainstream
7. Find the best sound system.
8. Rule is ... never fail.
9. You have to make sure your music is bang-on, you can't start a revolution if your music is not (?)
10. It's your choice.

Sit Back turn up the speakers enjoy

Official - Mark Knight & D.Ramirez V Underworld - Downpipe

Amazingly crazy light show from wiring an entire building in Dublin. Mark Knight's energy is a perfect fit for the color scheme and idea. Great shots, great idea. Enjoy

LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND - OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO (AXWELL, INGROSSO, ANGELLO, LBL)

This is the song of the summer right here, The swedish house mafia know exactly what they are doing and they are doing it well. Marketing and music to the masses is a formula for success. Great music + Great videos + great fans = classic music and successful careers. Take notes and watch these guys to help your own career out.

Preset to Rock

This song I made this summer. It is a very hard house track. A lot of engineering work, which is the most fun of producing. But take a listen, crank the speakers or headphones and sit back and enjoy a quick trip into the mind of Victor Radz

JUSTICE - PHANTOM II

The French are Killing it. End of story. I do not know what is in the water over in that country but the electro house/indie artists are on some serious crack music. Pushing the envelope with their raw synths and tightly cut music they constantly keep me guessing and anticipating what they are going to come up with next. These guys truely are the new breed of rockstars. I do not care what your definition of rockstar is. But watch this video and see that your perception is most likely wrong. I'm Talking 1980's hair band rockstar, not your 2009 Jonas Brothers rockstar here. Get with it!!!

Norman Doray - Tobita (Original Mix)

Another bomb from this fall. Norman Doray's style is great. Very heavy very electro while sticking to the house roots and keeping his melodies driving forward.

a lot more to come from this guy in the future

Dubfire - Grindhouse

This is an older song, but is one that everyone should listen to. Very spacey, very Dark, very awesome. Get to the 5 min mark to see what I am talking about.

Dubfire kicks ass

Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey ( Attention Vocal mix)

Bomb of a song to start out the New Year and end out this one. If you are a club junky you should be hearing this over the speakers. If not... well... get the net.
