Solomun - After The Rain Comes The Sun The Sun (Joris Voorn Dusty Dub Stab)

Lovin this track right here. Lovin it. Groovin, all that needs to be said about this one. Sit back kick up the volume and see where this one takes you.

La Roux Performs 'In For The Kill'

Last night while spinning over at 28 Degrees, Neno threw on a Remix of "In for the Kill" by La Roux which was crazy. The original is just as crazy, and I think everyone should see what true passion for something looks like. This crew isn't messin around. Synth'd out to the nines. The studio version has been stuck in my head non stop for the past two days now. Its great to see artists perform live and show the world that, Yes, we are actually making this music.

Toolroom Knights Mixed By Mark Knight - The Making Of

I am a big fan of Mark Knight and his label Toolroom Records. This is a great video to get a look at what goes on inside the walls of the Toolroom Records office and studio. Very interesting and inspiring if you ask me. Who needs a big name label anymore when you can do it yourself! Keep up the great work Sir Knight and keep showing us how you are making this happen.

Max Vangeli, AN21 - Gama (Original Mix)

Dance Floor bomb right here. Big room music. This track is def a banger for all clubs. Great builds, great automation. Big ass bass kicks. Love it Keep them coming!!

28 Degrees tonight

I will be spinning some solid sounds over at 28 degrees tonight with fellow DJ Neno. Should be a good time, low key, good music, good drinks. If you are in the city you should drop by for a few drinks and some new music.

East & Young - Reveal (Rob Rolefes Remix)

This remix is crazy. I am a complete Tech nerd at heart. This track gets me groovin in a way other songs can't. It gives me a 90's hip hop feel. The engineering on this track is awesome. A lot of time went into this one.

Enjoy this one

John Dahlback @ Stereosonic

John Dahlback is a beast. Plain and simple. He is pushing sounds that I have never heard let alone ever thought of. A true Pioneer when it comes to Electro and Electronic music. I love his originals and his remixes always give you something you want to hear that you don't in the original. Always good to count on for a club banger late in the night.

Enjoy

Hot Chip - One Life Stand (Joris Voorn Dusty Flower Remix)

Really Groovin. All I have to say about this one. This is a total early session song. Gets the crowd moving and the energy in the right place. Has a lot of crazy effect work on the vocals. I also love the placement of a lot of the stabs in this one.

Pretty groovin. Straight sick

Morgan Page - Strange Condition (Inpetto Vocal Mix)

This is such a great track. The ambiance, the reverb, the stabs, the drops, yes, has it all. I highly suggest to any DJ at some point in the night play this in your set and watch people dance their asses off. Garunteed.

Your welcome, Morgan Page, kick ass. Inpetto Thank you.

Soho Spiv - Sunscape (Original Mix)

So I have been out of town and super busy.

But that being said, now you have a back logged amount of great content to keep coming back to check out.

Like this track from Soho Spiv coming from the UK. It is a great track to put on at the end of the night or if you are just chillin out. Tiesto has been playing this track which has been giving it some air play and getting a lot more ears to hear the progressive yet trancey chords. Loving the gating and the over all feel of this track. Very happy. Enjoy your Monday, this will make it a lot easier to get through.

FM217 promo Feat: Tocadisco from will seelig on Vimeo.

I just watched the "In The Studio Session" with Tocadisco. If you are a producer and have the basic understandings in sound then you should be able to keep up. He breaks down a lot of tracks and the structuring of them for you plus giving you some good insight on his past productions. I love these "In the Studio with" that Future Music Magazine do, genius I say, GENIUS!!

Not only do you get to take a look into some of the worlds best producers and DJs studios, but you get to listen to how they make their own music, and they really break it down. If you think you are good, you can be better, watch these guys and see how you can do it.

I suggest you watch "In the Studio With" - Funkagenda, Free Masons, Steve Angello, Tocadisco, Sharooz, and Ian Carey.

Trust me when I tell you, they do help.

EricPrydz.TV - Eric Prydz @ Wonderland Ibiza

Prydz is killin it!!! plain and simple. Cirez D - Glow. Download it, Buy it, Spin it, LET IT BE HEARD. Song is my favorite at the moment and is a club banger. It is true Victor Radz style. Dark, powerful and just a club banger. Eric Prydz is putting his foot down for sure with this bomb of a song.

Check out the video and try not to say in your head "Damn I wish I was there instead of sitting in this cubicle!!"

Pacha - Steve Angello interview

I love these vids that "Pacha Web" are putting up monthly. They stay consistent with the same questions that they ask every DJ which is very interesting. Steve Angello is one of my favorite DJs/Producer at the moment. Very honest and that is all that we ask our DJ's to be. His style is great, simple, and heavy. In the club you are going to be hearing at least 2 to 3 of his songs a night, unless you think the club is Ned Devines or some other fanieul hall bar.

Watch the video and get an inside look at one of the worlds biggest DJ's at the moment.

cheers!

Victor Radz - Sundown (Original Mix)

Victor Radz - Sundown (Original Mix) by jradzevich

I have been in the studio like a maniac for the past couple of months. I want to make sure you all know I am spending my time wisely. Here is a new original that I finished up on. A vocal mix should be coming soon.

Enjoy!

[Fri 1/29] Arno Cost (France) w/ Baltimoroder opening & Stan Fransisco in the lounge

"Arno Cost is one of the fastest rising stars in the international club circuit. As a producer, tracks like Magenta and Apocalypse thrust him into the spotlight, with DJs like Pete Tong and Steve Angello crushing his music in the world's best clubs. He's no slack as a DJ, either. He's headlined across the globe, from Ibiza to to London to Japan. Arno Cost is young and hungry...don't sleep on this night, as he's quickly becoming one of the industry's elite."

If you haven't been to rise yet, I suggest you get your asses up and go to the club. I mean a real club. If you are about good music and can't stand listening to the same terrible top 40 songs at every other club in Boston, Then go to Rise. Rise is open from 1 am to 6 am and really starts to get packed around 2:30 ish. My suggestion get their early. Arno Cost is a party animal and puts on a great show. Get your drinks in before hand and get ready to have a blast. while your at it thank the people over at Rise for giving Boston this opportunity to see such acts in a great environment.

See you on the 29th!

Victor Radz - Flare (Original Mix)

I have been in the studio nerding out for the past week. I have a couple singles I am waiting for vocals on and for remixes but to keep you posted you can take a quick listen to "Flare". Just a solid mix of a full track. The vocal mix is going to be great. Get ready to dance to this one. Take a listen, leave some feedback, Positive hopefully.

System F - Out Of The Blue 2010 (Laidback Luke Remix) [HQ]

This is a dope remix. A great classic song being shot directly through a time warp into 2010. Slowed down from 140 down to our tempo now. Crazy. Great tribal beat with Big Room Synths. Imagine yourself in a giant field with a stage and massive system around you. Imagine yourself at Ultra in Miami. Imagine.... and get jealous that you aren't there while listening to this song.

Axwell @ Steriosonic Festivaltour, Australia 2009

Take a look at Axwell on tour in Australia killin a festival. I am wondering how and if it would even be possible to get the permit to put on a festival in Boston someday. It is all about how many people would actually show up. If that were ever to happen one day I garuntee you that I will be a part of that show.

Enjoy the video. New Victor Radz tracks coming soon!

Dylan Rhymes ft Pablo Decoder - Kemptown (Sharooz Remix)

I love all house music. Progressive, Minimal, Tech, and Electro. One time I was spinning at Caprice since the Underbar show got canceled due to the worst snow storm in the history of Boston. That's another story. But the crowd was small and the vibe was very minimal/lounge. I was spinning the show with my production partner Slobo. I had to go talk to the manager upstairs because of the storm. When I came back down I heard Slobo mixing in Sharooz "Get Off (Miles Dyson Remix)". I was immediately like oh $#@%. So funny to see all the peoples reactions to such a huge change in music. Going from Deadmau5 "I Remember" to insanely heavy electro bass Sharooz. Slobo just smiled and laughed and said, "Yo we gettin shut down in like 10 minutes". Haha classic night.

This track is dope to the max. Incredibly Groovin Electro percussion work. And huge bass with all the stereo field needs you could ever want!

Kaiserdisco - Amalfino

Artist : Kaiserdisco Album : Cocktail Label

This song is so dope. Kaiserdisco is pushing out some ridiculously grooving songs. This song has a strong bass line that gets the feet moving. Great percussion work and automation work as well. I love the sample chosen and how he works it throughout the entire song. Good work all around. I want more music like this out there!

Norman Doray @ Sunburn Festival in Goa

If there is any place I would want to be spinning a show, it would be here. I am so jealous of Norman Doray, I can't even lie. Regardless this is a dope song (bryan adams - dont give up (albin myers and Norman Doray remix) ) I am definitely going to be dropping in this a podcast coming up. Stay Tuned for that and watch this video the whole way through. And dream about being in the warm sun at a festival, rather than being here in below 0 freezing Boston. Yah Winter!

Cirez D - Glow (Original Mix)

I heard this song at Rise on Friday night and was blown away. It sounds good in headphones, it sounds great over monitors, but sounds incredible when you hear it on a full system at the club. Those plucks with the added delay automation work = craziness. This is a great driving song for the club and the car. The bass line and plucks keep you moving throughout this whole song from start to finish. I highly suggest you get your hands on this track fast.

Victor Radz - With You (Original Mix)

The perfect song to relax to on Sunday before the Pats Game. This track is a different step for me and was a lot of fun to make. Just a feel good song for the cold winter nights. Sit back take a listen. leave some feedback!

Rise Boston!

Last night I went to Rise and was blown away with what I saw and heard. Anyone that is in Boston that listens to House music should be going here regularly. The Boston House music scene is very limited especially since the clubs close at 2am. While we are leaving the club here in Boston, kids in other cities are just getting started. It is unfair and lame, but we can't whine about it because we have an elected official who keeps it that way. So go and vote. BUT, When the clubs in Boston close Rise is just getting going. Rise is exactly what the city needs to promote the House Music scene and the DJ's in it. Some excellent DJ's have been rolling through Rise in the past and continues to bring in big names like Arno Cost who will be spinning on 29th this month (get on the list).

I highly suggest you get your butts to Rise and see whats going on right under your nose!

Tamer Malki - Charley Can Dance (YouTube Edit)

Tamer Malki is one of Boston's leading residents in the club scene and has been seen spinning all over the world. Spins regularly at Rumor/Venu etc. His ability to make such grooving bass lines and melodies is great. I have been listening to this track for sometime now and I think all of you should take a chance to sit back and put this one on and try not to bob your head, tap your foot, or dance. I dare you. Kudos Tamer keep them coming.

ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2010

The lineup for Day one at the Festival came out today and my god do I need to figure out a way to get down there again. The names that are going to be headlining this year gives me goosebumps. Take a look at a little preview of what's to come this year. If they go bigger than last year then we are all in for a treat.

I love how epic they made the trailer because if you truly are a fan you will understand that it is beyond the music. Its the lifestyle and this is the mecca of that lifestyle. Enjoy

2009 in 4 minutes.

So Deadmau5 had one hell of a year in 2009. I remember being at Ultra last year in Miami and he was on the main stage for about 5 minutes. Then the next day had his set on one of the side stages. This year he is on the main stage for sure along with Swedish House Mafia. It just goes to show you how fast the house music industry is moving. In literally one year Deadmau5 and Swedish House Mafia go from rocking the best shows I have ever seen in the tents on the perimeters to the Main Stage. That's what I call going after it in one year. That is the only way you can go after it. Congrats to Deadmau5 and his success he is paving the way for producers like myself to keep working hard to reach the stage as well.

deadmau5 @ Stereosonic

Really cool video of Deadmau5 on tour. Looked like a crazy show to be at and thanks to Stereosonic you have the chance to see it. Deadmau5 is becoming a star in the Electronic world now. When you see people in the crowd bringing their own home made deadmau5 mascot helmets you know your big time. I also like how he comes out on stage and and instead of always starting the show out with his mau5 helmet already on, he comes out with it in his hand then puts it on during the first few minutes of the set. That's a great way to really solidify his place in the Electronic Music world. Keep it up Sir Deadmau5 because we are all listening to what you have coming up next.

Lenny Kravitz - Let Love Rule (Justice Remix)

I am a Massive Justice fan. In my eyes they truly are the rockstars of electronic music at the moment. Watch their documentary "Across the Universe" and see what I mean. I have been listening to this song since the summer and have never said anything about it really until today. This song takes me back to when I was a kid growing up in the confusing times of the 80's and early 90's. The funked out bass line and harpsichord chops just get me up and dancing or at least wanting to dance.

This song is great to slow down and chill out to. It also shows the diversity in Justice' sound. Sampling from another rocker like Lenny Kravits makes it a little easier to get in the zone for putting this sampled master piece together.

I different sound for the blog but just as influential. Enjoy

Cirez D Vs. Axwell - Feel The On Off(Axwell Bootleg Edit)

One of my favorite songs at the moment. It is in the middle of my last podcast "Red Hat Sessions #1". It is such a driving force with that bassline pluck and airy counter. The vocal drop is perfect for the club. This is truly a song that if you are driving on the highway and this comes on you will probably be pulled over for speeding. Obviously it wouldn't be your fault but I don't think the officer would care about your wacko story about how the music made you speed!

Turn this one up and see what I am talking about.

DEADMAU5 - Intro - New Years Eve NYE 2010 at the O2 Arena in LONDON

New Years Eve at the O2 Arena in London. The crowd must have been pretty stoked to see a flying super Deadmau5 DJ coming down. Deadmau5 has gotten big enough where something like that is acceptable. Pretty funny and also a sweet edit he put together for the intro song to drop into. Also note the 1:50 mark where someone tosses a banana at him.

I really think it is great that he is making his name infamous with his lengthy techy video intro and then to be strung up and flown in with a cape. He is doing something that other DJ's don't. We need more of him, more Swedish House Mafia, More Tiesto. We need to bring more exposure to the music, to the art, to the passion of House Music. Music for the masses!!!!

Dirty South & Bob Sinclair - The Russian March (Original Mix)

Dirty South is a beast and so is Bob Sinclair. Team the two up and you get bombs like this one. This track is a total build up song. Drop this in the middle of your set and see what happens. People will go insane. Easy melody to hum along to so all the kids can feel special. Oh man they know what they are doing with this one. Take a listen and turn it up.

There are about 3 drops in this song. A lot to work with here if you are spinning a good set.

Pirupa, Pigi - Sweet Devil

This track is a party starter. Put this one on early in the night to get people warmed up and you will see where it takes the night. Bassline that pushes and counter stabs that feel like you are plucking big rubber bands next to your ear. Great build and vocal work. All around Dance floor hit. A Victor Radz Pick for sure.
