Bob Sinclair and Martin Solveig do a great job on camera and show us why they are playing tennis infront of thousands and making it look like the actually almost belong out there. Seriously if you like techno and mix a lot of tech sets, I highly suggest going out and putting this one in you folder. So heavy when that driving bass line comes in. Slovenian DJ Umek truly killed this track and I will play this for a long time in my tech heavy sets for sure. Kudos Umek, this shit knocks!

Sebastien Leger is one of the few DJ's out there that I think is really pushing it to the next level. Watch the crowds reactions to some of the drops he builds up, crazy. Great song, Mediocre video. This is one of the biggest songs right now in House and the video does an ok job on delivering on that. Good quality, weak plot. No offense to the director, just one of those things we have seen over and over again. Also I don't like when broads get to take easy street with the whole, "it's ok you cheated on me, come back to my life because I figure you are the best I am ever going to get" routine.

Since their domination at WMC the Size Records team seems to be everywhere. AN21 has been popping up around the world spinning next to his older brother Steve Angello. They were even here in Boston a couple weeks ago, where one of my friends sent me pics of a packed house over at Rumor.

I´m 20 years old, So my name 'AN21' is NOT about my age. But thats for a different question :)

I´m still in Stockholm but planning on moving to Los Angeles in one or two years.

I´ve always been working more or less with music but it became more serious when I was 16 because I started to get gigs back then.

I gotta say my first one with Steve Angello 'FLONKO'. It was something very different and opened up a lot of doors for me.

Lots of remixes for Gorillaz, Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick, Switchfoot and a lot of new original singles.

The Boy Illinois "No Good For You" (Prod. Victor Radz)

So this is a change of pace over here at the Victor Radz Blog. A lot of you might not know but I actually started out producing Hip Hop/R&B/Rap back in the early days. Since then I have evolved into the EDM producer I am today. I still make a lot of hip hop and R&B and still work with a lot of artists in Boston like the Famous Nobodies. I love Hip Hop, real hip hop and I am sure that the two genres of House and Hip Hop will cross over here in the states very soon. Keep your eyes and ears open because it's happening as we speak.

The Boy Illinois (based out of Chicago) is an artist I met through my friend Noah Christofer (Beyond Measure Productions). He got on the "Official Broke Mixtape" that I produced last fall and absolutely killed it. His style and sound are something that can't be ignored. The Xone 4D is a serious piece of equipment that is revolutionizing the DJ world as we speak when teamed up and mapped with Ableton live. A lot of DJ's are taking the jump and moving towards "live mixing". Take a look and listen at what Ralph Lawson has to say and how he maps his Xone 4D. There is no right or wrong way to DJ a session with Ableton, unless you sound terrible. If that's the case, keep practicing.

Dirty South playin David Tort & Norman Doray - The sun at Ultra Music Festival 2010

I became a huge fan of Dirty South last year at Ultra when he was on right before Swedish House Mafia. His set was incredible and he pretty much gave the crowd to SHM on a silver platter. He should have said, "You're Welcome, I just gave you guys a lay up".

There are a lot of Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek Remixes out there. All good in their rightful genre. This remix by Otto Knows is awesome. Hands down one of my favorites. I guarantee people will go crazy if they hear this. Obviously you have to get the energy right to get the full feel of this track. But if you are a good DJ you shouldn't have a problem with that at all. Great Work on this one. Go Buy it when it is released or where ever you can find it.

Max Vangeli Interview

So over at the Victor Radz Blog I will be interviewing DJ's and Producers from around the world. The first Producer/DJ that I was able to speak with was Max Vangeli. Since WMC we have seen a couple new producers jumping into the spotlight from the Size Records team. Max Vangeli is one of those producers putting his foot down and showing the world his sound. Max has some pretty big songs under his name at the moment like "Swedish Beauty", "Gama", and "Starry Eyed (Max Vangeli & AN21 Remix) that are pushing him even further into the House world spotlight.

MV - Try and find a new sound. Stop copying other people's shit. In the long run it will only benefit you.

DJ A-Trak Interview

DJ A-Trak, if you don't know him, is a DJing Prodigy. I used to watch VHS Tapes of this kid destroying sets at the DMC World Championships back when I used to scratch records all day. Oh yeah he was winning those competitions at the age of 15. In the digital age he is now a very accomplished DJ and Producer. Take a look and listen at what he has to say about EDM today, where it is going. Seems like a real humble dude and I like how he appreciates how lucky he is to be rockin shows with crowds that appreciate music.

Cicada - One Beat Away (Max Vangeli Remix)

Max Vangeli, all I can say is sit back and watch his career take off in 2010. I don't think there is really anyone out there that is competing with the team that Steve Angello put together over at Size Records. This track is another big room bomb. The formula is now set in stone for these guys and they are going to keep pushing out bangers like this one.

Great vocals for all the chickies to sing too while giving the big room sound for all us guys to spaz out to when the builds drop. Good melody and great work with sidechaining the noise. Kudos Max, keep them coming.

Pachaweb Interview on Bob Sinclar

I am still loving what these guys are doing over at Pacha.com. Another interview of a great producer/dj. Bob Sinclair has seen huge success and will be seeing a lot more of it. Out of all the interviews I have watched it seems that Bob is one of the more grounded producers. A truly passionate man and great producer. Kudos Bob.

I normally don't post other Mixes on the Victor Radz Blog, but this mix is just so killer I have to share it with everyone with ears. French house DJ and producer Sebastien Leger takes it to another level in his mixes and productions. His sets bring you down a lot of different paths from Tech House bombs to heavy Minimal House grooves. His long intro is dope. I would love to perform that at a big festival.
